Hair and Beauty tips from Studio Thirty

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009

Studio Thirty is nestled in one of the greatest art communities in Portland, Oregon. With Spring in the air, and the rainiest time of the year, our Portland weather creates your own hairstyle. Having a hairstyle that functions in a wet and dry climate may make or break the client/stylist relationship – BIG TIME. Opting for hair styles that compliment your natural texture is a true sign that you are happy with your hair.

By adding versatility and personal flair with individual color designs, trying different styling options, as well as hair products, the “Rainy Blues” will become your “Refreshing Spring”! Our creative hair artists are available for a free consultation via online booking through our website.

Looking forward to seing you!

The lastest information from Studio Thirty is Hair 101 – Tip for seasonal change:

Oregon is a very wet state. Yet with all the artificial heat at home right now, clients are complaining that their scalp is itchy, dry, or some say “oily”. Well, I am not a doctor, although some may think so. – I have one suggestion: Detox and Mask Weekly. I use Kevin Murphy Maxi Wash then follow with either Born Again mask or your prescribed daily conditioner. With the artificial heat – this throws your scalp / “skin” off balance. Detoxing and sloughing off excess baggage “so to speak” is at least a start to a better hair regime. Treat your scalp like your skin and you should be good to go!
