Last Thursday featured artist Amanda Christine Baker from 6 – 9 !

”As a native Oregonian, I’ve got the rythms and the patterns of the Pacific Northwest embedded in my mind. Spitting images of the spiratic color and circular, twisted patterns of wild flowers in the Columbia River Gorge fill the paper. The intricate detail of each pine needle that makes up an entire forest is the detail I aspire to in each painting. Organic forms vibrate with color and flow from landscape to facial features. The land shapes the faces, and those faces shape the land. My work consists of etching, monoprint, archival watercolor, ballpoint pen, and ink.” Amanda Christine Baker.
